Thank you for visiting Running Horse Farms web site. We are located along the Wabash River in Southern Illinois. Mt Carmel is 35 miles north of Evansville, Indiana , right across the Wabash River Bridges. Running Horse Farms is a grain farm.We grow corn, soy beans, wheat, sometimes hay. We have a love of God and His Creatures. We raise American Quarter Horses, and small breeds of dogs. Some of our dogs we raise are: Chihuahua's both long and short haired, also the Merle color, Maltese, Pekeapoo, Pugs, Shih Tzu's, Toy Poodles, Pomerianians, Yorkie-Poos, Pekingese. And last , but not least Yorkie's. I do so enjoy my babies of all kinds. Since I have always been a stay at home farm wife, I have all of the time I want to play with my puppies.
When our three Children grew up and left the nest. I had to do something to fill the void in my life, so I started raising other babies. Now I raise Puppies so that You can have pets.
In this day and age it is hard to raise puppies for pets. The Animal Rights people have such different ideas about what a pet is.
